I finally got to phoning teksavvy about the issue, they put me through the standard loops: power cycle modem, router, etc. checklist stuff. They told me a tech would be sent to my residence to inspect. Mar 13, 2013 · About getting TekSavvy internet I just want to ask around because I am more of the higher tier packages, but I want to know what other's experiences are because Rogers has pretty low data caps and high prices for download speeds, and Bell, I had them previously and it has been more problems for me than being productive.

Start to finnish a month of daily old modem reboots, wifi dying, packet loss and DNS not passing info so 50% of sites don't work.

I previously posted a negative comment on this site regarding poor service received from Teksavvy where I was billed for 2 internet services at the same address for 1.5yrs. I phoned TekSavvy on the 16th, mentioned the issue and was asked to do some basic diagnostic tests to see if there was anything wrong that I could solve locally (So restarting modem, disconnecting from the router and going directly to the modem, checking the ethernet cable to the modem and from the modem to the cable box ect) with no real success. Been with Teksavvy for 3 years on their rented Rogers cable internet service. First of all, internet speed was very slow to the point I couldn't watch Netflix without pausing randomly. I contacted Teksavvy and it got better a little, but not as advertized. Internet turns on and off often. Second of all, my phone was completely dead for over 3 days. I contacted them and they arranged Bell tech to come, but it was a no show.
