Configuration, static DHCP settings on DD-WRT router
If you were to ping the static IP 11.22.33.123, the reply would come from my DD-WRT router. My ISP is routing traffic destined for 77.88.99.16 through 23 to the static internet IP, 11.22.33.123. My router has to be configured to send it on to the correct network in my office. Regardless of which OS you use, or the method you use to set the IP address, these are the settings you need: set the (Static) IP address to 192.168.1.2 set subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 set gateway address to 192.168.1.1 Windows. On all versions of windows this is the form for setting a static IP address.
